Wifi connection struggled at times during my stay in room 22, making it a tad annoying to check emails. The TV's small size felt outdated, not that I'd ever choose to watch it. On check-out, I couldn't leave my bags, which was inconvenient for my travel schedule. A strange smell near the kitchen area, likely due to plumbing issues, detracted from the overall experience even though I liked the approach to furniture layout, which was more of a homey feel, just not ideal for cleaning.

checking in to this establishment was a nightmare. not only were the rules overly strict, but the thin walls made it impossible to sleep. i expected at least a complimentary gesture for the trouble, but apparently, that would have been too much for them. almost gave a good review, but just couldn't, you know?

the staff was friendly and spoke english well. the bathroom tap design is inconvenient.

staying at jp inn kyoto ekimae izutsucho was great! the superior double room was super spacious, and it really felt like home after a long day of exploring. plus, the free coffee and tea were delicious! it's also just a short walk from the jr station, which made getting around so easy.
